Wanneroo Central Shopping Centre has been redeveloped out of a single strip of convenience stores into a 15,500sqm centre, in two stages. Anchors are Kmart, Coles and IGA. Taylor Robinson Architects designed a high quality centre with finishes that are superior to most regional centres of this sort.
NS Projects was appointed as project manager together with an associated company, Integral Project Creation Pty Ltd, as the development manager for the completion of the second stage.
The project overcame numerous challenges from inception to acquisition and consolidation of sites. Staging of works was required to meet the needs of existing tenants while providing for substantial expansion. Anchor tenant requirements were established well into the construction phase and required a close working relationship between project team and contractor to implement within the project program.
