Claremont Quarter

Project Description

Claremont Quarter was developed by Hawaiian Group as a way of providing an upmarket shopping experience as well as high quality residential apartments in the centre of the Town of Claremont within close proximity to the train station.

This project of over 90 tenancies included high end fashion, food and beverage, home wares and a complete refurbishment of the David Jones department store.

Our Role

NS Projects was appointed to stage one and stage two tenancy fit out coordination. We managed the process from initial concept design review right through to trading day.

Tenancy delivery deadline was brought forward to allow a number of tenancies to open for Christmas trading.

Challenges Overcome

Accommodating tenants’ late changes into the construction programme.
Carrying out tenancy fit out in stage two while stage one was trading.
Carrying out construction and tenancy works in close proximity to a residential area.
Dealing with tenants and designers who were based in the eastern states.
Managing fit out contractors who were installing numerous fit outs within the centre.
