Challenger TAFE

Project Description

Challenger TAFE required the addition of the new Australian Centre for Energy and Process Training (ACEPT) to expand its training facilities.

The leading-edge facility provides a world-class specialist energy training facility for students and apprentices looking to develop a career in the oil and gas industry.

Research and development opportunities are provided for industries that utilise a continuous process like oil and gas process and production.

The facility is located adjacent to Lake Coogee wetlands and a sensitive structure plan and a number of environmental approvals were required for the facility’s two distinct elements: an education building and a process plant.

Our Role

NS Projects managed the development of the detailed training facility, through all phases.

To successfully fulfil this role, we assisted with sourcing and managing a unique blend of architectural, industrial, environmental and industrial processes.

A key element of the role was the management, procurement and commissioning of an oil and gas process simulation plant and monitoring by the project team ensured a seamless and timely integration.
